2025 Board Appointments

Washington, D.C. — Association Women Technology Champions (AWTC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of two distinguished professionals, Rhoni Rakos, and Michelle Wroblewski, to its Board of Directors. These accomplished leaders bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion for advancing women in technology within the association sector. AWTC Board members Julie Sciullo and Heidi Weber, CAE, have ended their terms.

Rhoni Rakos has been a technologist, digital strategist, and customer experience advocate for almost 20 years. As the Director of Digital Strategy at fusionSpan, Rhoni helps associations and nonprofits identify goals and develop innovative, customized strategies for accomplishing them in the digital age. She focuses on data-driven decision-making and a user-centered approach to digital strategy, with expertise in UX, CX, user research, and technology strategy/road mapping.

Rakos is passionate about the association community and its ability to affect positive change. She is dedicated to implementing strategies that improve member experiences, demonstrate value, and maximize organizational impact through the power of tech.

Rakos has volunteered with AWTC as the Programming Committee chair, with ASAE on the Technology Professional Advisory Council, and serves on the advisory council for Days End Horse Farm Rescue.

Michelle Wroblewski serves as the national Director of Growth and Strategy for Associations at Wipfli LLP, which is recognized as one of the top 20 accounting and business consulting firms in the U.S.

With over a decade of leadership experience in consulting and a passion for driving transformative change, she’s on a mission to elevate how associations harness technology and innovation to achieve their goals. At Wipfli, Wroblewski focuses on leading a team that delivers cutting-edge strategies, impactful solutions, and exceptional client service to help organizations optimize their operations and achieve meaningful growth, with a deep commitment to the association space.

Wroblewski is a passionate advocate for empowering women in technology. She is dedicated to building supportive communities, fostering collaboration, and inspiring innovation. Wroblewski has been a strong advocate for the AWTC community in Chicago, and looks forward to convening events in the year ahead.
