Rebecca Achurch, PGMP, PMP, CSM, CAE

Treasurer

Rebecca Achurch is the founder and inspiration behind Achurch Consulting. As the founder, Rebecca is responsible for taking the lead with clients on the implementation of complex IT solutions, aligning the needs of their business, and staff with the right technology and processes to support it.

At the American Chemical Society, she built and managed a team of more than fifteen project managers, business analysts, and developers to implement more than thirty-five projects and innovative applications across the organization. She has won innovation awards for business process redevelopment and membership engagement platforms.

In addition to her work as a technologist, Rebecca is a certified Strength Finders Coach. She enjoys consulting with businesses and not for profits on maximizing the effectiveness of their distributed workforces; by identifying and focusing on existing team strengths, she works with leaders and team managers on collaborative work strategies needed to excel in the performance-based culture required of our remote workforce teams.

Rebecca is the Co-Founder of Association Gurus, a talent hub for Association industry consultants and Co-Founder of AWTC, Association Women Technology Champions and serves on the ASAE Technology Council.

Rebecca lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband James and her son William. When not working or on a plane, Rebecca can be found thinking up new ideas while hiking in the North Carolina Mountains.

Rebecca earned her BA in Communication at DePauw University.
