Leakhena has more than 20 years of experience in associations. She is the Executive Vice President of the International Liquid Terminals Association. She has worked with associations like the American Chiropractic Association, the Association of American Pharmaceutical Scientists, and DesignData. Leakhena strongly believes in the power of membership to drive missions forward.
In 2009, Leakhena relocated to SHAPE NATO in Belgium to accompany her husband, who has since retired from the Army. There, she spent three years supporting military families as a member of the Executive Board of the Family Readiness Group. Despite the distance, her dedication to the association sphere remained unwavering. In 2012, Leakhena was honored with the Department of the Army’s Appreciation For Patriotic Civilian Service, recognizing her exceptional contributions.
Leakhena loves taking her family to the beach whenever possible!
