Joanna Pineda is CEO and Chief Troublemaker of Matrix Group International, Inc., an award-winning digital agency that works with associations and nonprofits to help them increase membership, generate revenue, nurture engagement, and thrive in the digital space. Their portfolio is web, mobile, social, the MatrixMaxx, and the BeSpeake virtual/hybrid meeting platform. Matrix Group works with hundreds of associations and nonprofits in many sectors across the US and the world.
Joanna is an author, keynote speaker, blogger, and podcaster. In addition to her role as CEO of Matrix Group, Joanna is the host of the Associations Thrive podcast and co-host of the K Drama Chat podcast. She is an active member of AWTC, ASAE, and the AANHPI Community Resource Group within ASAE. Joanna lives in Alexandria with her husband, two sons and two cats. She is a first degree black belt in Taekwondo and Hapkido. She is very involved in scouting and serves as a Charter Organization Representative for the Alexandria Scouting League, Committee Chair for Troop 1515 and a merit badge counselor for several Eagle-required merit badges.
