10 Minute Meditation

Introducing mindfulness into your work day helps you cope with stress and reduce the feelings of burnout. Join us to create 10 minutes of pure space in your busy day. We'll start with 5 minutes of arriving, a 10 minute meditation, and a 5 minute check-out. Open to all, with no prior meditation experience needed.

Moira Edwards has practiced mindfulness meditation for the last 17 years with teachers and groups affiliated with the Insight Meditation Community of Washington (IMCW).

For the past 10 years her home sangha has been IMCW’s Women’s Community Sangha. She completed the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and has a master’s degree in psychology.

Moira regularly teaches online for the Center for Mindful Living, and offers in-person events and classes in northern Virginia
