We are looking for those that have the energy, time, and dedication to make a difference. Practical skills in raising money, planning events, and developing programs are particularly valued.
AWTC started bringing people together in meetups in 2016 and was founded as a formal 501(c)3 in 2020. The organization is governed by a 9 person Board of Directors and a team of volunteer leaders, with some administrative support. As a member of the AWTC board, you will be asked to balance typical board governance responsibilities as well as operational activities to support the development of programs and projects as the organization grows.
